It’s a Pride and Prejudice wedding proposal!

David Slater, boyfriend of Literature major Bethany Albert, just became King of Literature Proposals, recreating more than half an hour of virtually verbatim scenes from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. He got it right, with family participation, the selection of Austen’s classic, with Slater playing Mr. Darcy, all the way down to the costumes. Incredible.

Peter Pan is growing up – and marrying Wendy!

The actor playing Peter Pan in a Scottish stage adaptation of Peter Pan proposed to his co-star, who is playing Wendy, on-stage.

I mean, seriously, doesn’t it get cuter more romantic than that?

Actor Sandor Sturbl, who plays Peter, popped the question to Lilly-Jane Young, who he had been dating for just over a year, as they performed at the Hydro in Glasgow. He got down on one knee and everything. Of course, Young, who plays Wendy Darling, said “Yes!”

This article off ABC shows how Tyne Owen got his entire family to make out a Christmas card that originally spelled “MERRY XMAS,” and transformed it into a surprise “MARRY ME” wedding proposal. So romantic, and so cute. Isn’t that sweet?

It’s not difficult – and certainly cost-effective! – to do this kind of wedding proposal!

Philippine makeup artist Hazel Gonzales has a unique idea: why not offer your girlfriend a photo shoot at her Philippine photography studio HG Studio and pop the question in between shots?

If I were a girl, I wouldn’t mind a photo shoot a la Vanity Fair, giving me the chance to get all glammed up and dressed up, and to be proposed to at the end of the day, or even in between? Sounds like fun!

Our wedding proposal consultancy was featured on Jessica Soho Reports, a multi-awarded investigative journalism/lifestyle television program on GMA-7, last Saturday. I believe they did a feature on one of our wedding proposal clients, and talked to us briefly about what we do. Which is wedding proposal consultancy in the Philippines.
I say “I believe” because I missed it. Hahahaha! Isn’t that funny?  Great promotional opportunity on television, and where was I? In my bedroom taking care of Nicki, my eight-month-old. Time flew by and before I knew it, I was getting calls and text messages from interested parties and friends.

Then I did a Homer Simpson – slap on the head with matching D-OH! – and realized daddyhood had once again ruled over self-promotion. But I don’t regret it one bit.

At any rate, welcome, all you interested future fiances and fiancees. If you’d like a wedding proposal to remember, give us a call and let us deliver the Yes for you.

In the mood for a stunt? Propose to someone who you have no chance in hell at all of marrying.

Mexican TV reporter Ines Gomez Mont, who reports for Mexican television show TV Azteca, was politely jilted by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who is currently dating supermodel Giselle Bundchen (more popularly known as the former love of actor Leonardo DiCaprio).

Wearing a short white wedding dress, veil and red pumps, the reporter blurted out “Marry me.”

“I have a few Mrs. Bradys in my life,” he answered promptly.

“He is very gorgeous,” Gomez Mont said afterwards, “I know Gisele is very gorgeous.”
